$1 Million Per Year From Skills He Learned on YouTube
📝 From a recent profile of Ibrahim Zafar…
He had started his video production company Lens End Media at age 27, in March 2020…
By 2024, Lens End Media was bringing in 7 figures in annual sales, with more than 50 customers, including big names like Walgreens and LEGO group.
Ibrahim sold the business in May for an undisclosed sum 💰
The best part…
[Ibrahim] had taught himself video production by watching YouTube tutorials in his spare time while working as a government consultant
So he's a young guy who taught himself video production on YouTube, then built and sold a 7-figure agency in 4 years.
What if you started doing freelance videography projects in your local area, with the aim of eventually expanding into an agency? 🤔
Ibrahim's story shows you can make a lot of money this way, even if you're starting with no experience or qualifications.

IDEA FRAMEWORK
AI Tools Like This Could Print Money
🧐 Jordan O'Connor spotted a great opportunity for AI builders…
Huh... Remove dot bg is pretty expensive. I wonder what it would cost to do the same thing using an AI model.
Remove.bg is a paid tool that removes image backgrounds.
Apparently the website gets 69 million visits/month, so it's likely printing money 🤑
Jordan realized that…
Remove.bg charges $0.2 per image
AI can do the same thing for $0.0003 per image (ie. 667x cheaper)
From Remove.bg’s success stories, it’s clear they have B2B clients using them, including clothing brands.
Got me thinking: an AI-powered Remove.bg for ecom stores could do well 📈
An idea framework off the back of that…
Identify popular pre-AI tools with good revenue.
Create an affordable, niche alternative using AI.
PS. Saw this tweet by Matt Palmer after writing the above 👇
Just built and deployed a background removal tool in 20 minutes with Cursor, Claude, & Replit.
TREND FINDING TOOL
This Makes it 100x Easier To Build a Profitable Business
Exploding Topics is a freemium tool that shows you "growing topics before they take off" 🚀
We featured the founder Josh Howarth previously, when he revealed how he came up with the idea…
I’d started to realize that it’s 100X easier to bootstrap a profitable online business if you ride a big market trend. Jump on the opportunity before the competition gets too fierce.
Josh's journey 👇
Started Trend List (now Exploding Topics)
Sold part of it to Brian Dean
And very recently: Exploding Topics was acquired by Semrush
In a video from last year, Brian revealed they were doing $3.2M in annual revenue.
So I'm guessing they sold for around $8 million 💰
Anyway, Exploding Topics is a massive resource and you can see a lot on there for free.
Have a look around, see what's trending in different industries, and it might spark an idea for you 🔥

How To Earn a Living as a YouTuber From Day 1
Cecilia Blomdahl has a YouTube channel documenting her life in Svalbard, an island close to the North Pole ❄️
She has 800K+ subscribers and seems to make a good living, but I'm sure it was tough the first few years while she was building up her audience.
2 other channels on YT…
Much like Cecilia's channel showcases Svalbard, those channels showcase Tallinn 🇪🇪 and Norway 🇳🇴
But those two are official channels of tourist boards, and they've hired regular people to vlog about the area.
No idea how much those people are earning, but I expect it's a decent salary for a pretty cool job 😎
Got me thinking: if you're eager to be a YouTuber but don't want to endure years of grinding before earning a living, try pitching your local tourist board to hire you.

12 Startups in 12 Months = $130K Revenue
💬 Manoj Ahirwar took on the 12 Startups in 12 Months challenge last year and recently tweeted his results…
Total Revenue - $130K+
8 made some revenue. 2 got acquired.
Rest of them failed.
UniqueSide.io was the big winner, a service business that accounted for 76% of that $130K 💰
Manoj's advice…
Do not wait. Just move and launch sh*t.
My takeaway: your idea doesn't matter so much.
Because most business ideas suck, and the only way to know if one has legs is to quickly build and launch and see what happens 👀
Manoj's approach forced him to ship fast and resulted in $130K revenue.
Btw, the 12 Startups in 12 Months challenge was started by Pieter Levels.
2 businesses that came out of it for him 👇
A decade on, those are earning Pieter about $3M a year.
So pick an idea – or 12 – and start building 💪
