Please let me know via this anonymous feedback form, or just reply to this email.

BROWSER EXTENSIONS

2 Ways To Build a $20K/Month Chrome Extension

In a recent interview on YouTube 👀 Saeed Ezzati talks about his Superpower ChatGPT browser extension…

I learned how to build an extension and launched my first extension within like 2-3 days… today it's at about $20-30K MRR.

If you want to do something similar, Saeed recommends two approaches ✌️

The first is to build an extension for "an existing really big platform."

Examples: Gmail, Roblox, Facebook.

They already have all these users… just build the extension and those users will find you.

The other approach is to target platforms that have an existing marketplace but a smaller user base 🎯

Examples: Zoom, Salesforce.

It’s a lot easier to compete… they have less users but at the same time they have less people building for those platforms.

Think about big platforms you use regularly 🤔

What kind of extension could you build to make life easier for its users?

AGENCY

Could You Make $80K/Month With This Agency Idea?

🎙️ A recent episode of The Startup Ideas Podcast…

The first idea is to start a Canva agency 🚀

Canva is a graphic design tool that 100M+ people use but few use really well.

The blueprint they lay out in the podcast…

• Create tutorials on how to use Canva
• Build an audience through YouTube
• Offer design services to viewers
• Hire offshore talent for execution
• Monetize through ads, affiliate links, and services
• Potential: $80K/month with 80% margins 💰

Strikes me that the same blueprint could work for any popular software.

Others with 100M+ users 👇

  • Notion

  • HubSpot

  • Shopify

  • Airtable

  • Figma

FREELANCING

She's Earned $100K as a Freelancer on Upwork

Naailah Dawood posted this video back in January…

Naailah lives in Jordan 🇯🇴 though it sounds like she's from the UK originally 🇬🇧

She earned that $100K in less than 2.5 years.

Two services listed on her Upwork profile

  • Social Media Manager + Video editing + Graphic design – $40.00/hr

  • Video Editor for YouTube, Facebook ADs and long form content – $40.00/hr

Apparently she wasn't some kind of super-skilled expert when starting out, had just picked up bits and pieces in previous jobs 💪

Strikes me that this is still one of the most reliable ways to earn a living online: freelancing simple skills on platforms like Upwork.

Naailah started out charging $15/hour for the first couple of months, built up some experience and positive reviews, then raised her rate to $40/hour 🤑

How about giving this a try yourself?

LOCAL NEWSLETTER

$87,000 Last Year, Aiming For $500K by 2027

Launched in 2021, From Boise is a weekly newsletter about life in Boise, Idaho 🇺🇸

Recently the two people behind the business discussed it at length on YouTube…

Nathan Barry provided the initial funding and guidance, but it's Marissa Lovell doing most of the day-to-day work.

Revenue in 2023 was $87,000, with about 90% of that coming from sponsorships 💰

See 2 sponsor spots in a recent edition.

I love this kind of business and reckon it could be emulated in many places 🌎

Only 240,000 people live in Boise so you don't need a huge population.

And as they talked about on YouTube, it's plausible that From Boise could reach $500K in annual revenue by 2027.

Could you do something similar in your city or area? 🤔
