I've been working for myself since 2010, and it's never been one big push that has paid the bills, but rather showing up and doing small, unremarkable tasks, day after day.

My Amazon Side Hustle Brings In $409K A Year — At Age 17

Description 👇

Bella Lin, 17, is the founder of GuineaLoft, a company that sells products for small pets, including guinea pig cages, bedding, food feeders and water bottles. In 2024, GuineaLoft has brought in an average of $71,000 per month in revenue so far.

She only launched this in 2022, wasn't happy with the products available for her pet guinea pigs and started building her own.

Given that it's physical products her profit margin is probably 10-20%, but that's still $7-14K per month only two years in 🤑

Maybe there's an opportunity to do something like this for other pets.

Cats and dogs would be tough, but pet birds and lizards are just as popular as guinea pigs and the market is likely much less competitive.

Reddit For Moms: A Validated Business Idea No One Is Doing

Heard about this in a recent episode of the MFM podcast 🎙️

It's inspired by this private Facebook group: Better Than Google.

If you ask a question here you're going to get "better than Google" type of answers.

An example question:

"Has anyone found an effective way to get rid of cellulite? I'm pretty petite and I work out daily but my legs still have cellulite."

It has 30 comments of people discussing how they did or didn't get rid of cellulite.

💡 The idea…

If somebody made an app that was the same premise… and it was a community of 10-20 thousand moms who were going to answer questions, that would be a really powerful app

Worth noting: Amber Lancaster is the driving force behind that Facebook group. Looks like she leveraged her sizable Instagram audience to get it rolling 💪

So you'd likely need at least one popular influencer on board to pull this off.
