eBiz Insider Business Ideas Newsletter
Hey, it's Niall 👋
I posted this story in the last edition…
But initially I miscalculated his earnings as $1.1 million instead of $110,000 🙈
Sorry about that!
(The takeaway still stands though: Fiverr is a good place to see what services are in demand.)
Thanks to Sean for pointing out my bad math 🙏
If you ever see a mistake in this newsletter, please do get in touch and let me know so I can correct it ASAP.
Alright, let's get into some fresh ideas.
I double-checked all the math for this edition, I swear 🤞

NICHE WEBSITES
Solving Newspaper Puzzles For $5000+ Per Month
Letter Boxed is a popular word puzzle from the NY Times 📰
LetterBoxedAnswers.com is a simple site someone created, revealing the answers to the puzzle each day.
The domain was registered in 2020, and despite still having a domain rating of 0, the site is now getting 400,000+ visitors per month (source) 📈
It's monetized with Google display ads, and the official Adsense calculator reveals that it could be earning up to $7500/month.
We featured a similar site a while back, NYT Crossword Answers, which earns about $7800/month 🤑
I asked ChatGPT for a list of other popular newspaper or magazine puzzles, see the response here.
Might be an opportunity to build a similar site focused on one of those.
Or you could try to compete with LetterBoxedAnswers.com (DR0, remember).
Plus, ChatGPT can probably solve these puzzles easily nowadays, no sweat to create the content 🤖
LEAD GENERATION | SPONSORED
Running a Lead Gen Agency From an RV
Today's email is brought to you by Local Marketing Vault.
That's our top-rated lead generation training 🤩
One reviewer writes…
I took December 2018 to watch the videos and started actively prospecting for clients in January 2019…
I have been earning a full-time income since May 2019 and have been building my business ever since. I live and run my agency full-time in my RV, traveling across the U.S. That would not be possible without Local Marketing Vault, Jason & James, and the incredible community they built.
If you'd like to build something similar, check out their free masterclass video 👈
CONTENT REPURPOSING
$20,000 Per Month Podcast Repurposing Agency
James Sowers is the founder of Castaway.fm.
They help podcasters repurpose their content to reach a bigger audience 👍
James shared some details of the business with me via email…
Castaway was stuck at $4-6k MRR for a year while I was doing it as a side hustle.
I quit my job in December 2023 to go all-in on it (and a couple other projects) and now it's up to $20,000 MRR spread across 11 clients… our current pace is a $250k run rate.
We're adding 1-2 clients per month right now and turning probably 5-6 away because they aren't a good fit.
James reckons there's plenty of opportunity for other people to do this 💪
I asked him to share a few tips to get started and he did so on X…
AUTOMATION | SAAS
Turned His Manual Service into a $4000/Month SaaS
👉 A nice example of a non-developer building with no-code tools.
Ken Savage is the founder of JobMate.
It takes your resume and location, shows you relevant jobs, you approve or deny them. It then fills out the applications for you, saving you "12-15 hours per week job hunting."
🧑💻 The tech…
Ken got his first customers posting about the service on Reddit…
At that time everything was manual. No software, no scrapers and definitely no automation. I collected manual payments and their resume/CVs and got to work.
After this initial validation, I put the manual outreach on hold and started building the software.
So what service should you offer? 🤔
To get ideas, check these YT searches…
Lots of people there sharing automations they've built, which you could offer as a service.

Oh Sh*t Niches: $2000 is Chump Change For Them
💬 Someone asks on Reddit…
I'm looking to charge for an all in one solution for a flat fee of 2k a month. Website, SEO, marketing. I'm trying to think of businesses that can afford 2k a month without any big hassles?
👍 The most up-voted answer…
The best niches in my experience are what I call the “oh shit” niches.
These are the companies you call when something happens that makes you say… ”oh shit!”
HVAC, plumbing, roofers, personal injury lawyers, auto collision repair, etc.
These industries typically have high volume/high ticket jobs. So $2,000 is chump change for them. They’ll pay much more depending on the size of the company.
What are the "oh shit" businesses in your area? 🧐
They'd be good targets for pitching services like web design, SEO, lead gen, PPC, etc.
You could try the "drop servicing" approach here: hire contractors to do the work and you be the middleman.
NO CODE AGENCY
He Built 300 Apps in 3 Years and Earned $1+ Million
📝 From an interview with Jesus Vargas of Low Code Agency…
Five years ago, he had zero coding experience. Now, he runs a 7-figure no-code agency building apps for Coca-Cola, Amex and Zapier.
Jesus started out using Glide Apps…
In just three hours, I built a mini-CRM for my solar panel company that could effortlessly track proposals and clients. This was my "aha" moment – the realization that I could create functional, useful apps on my own, without the need for a technical background.
His first paid project was for a friend who needed software to manage Airbnb properties. $1000 right there 🤑
Word spread, more people started asking Jesus for help, and the business grew steadily.
Could you try this yourself?
Lots of demand for people who can quickly build apps with no- and low-code tools 📈
Might be smart to focus on a specific niche you're already familiar with / have connections to.
