eBiz Insider Business Ideas Newsletter

Hey, it's Niall 👋

October is here and I've put together a PDF of 39 ideas recently featured in this newsletter…

I'm thinking to create and share a PDF like that every month going forward.

Good idea?

Let me know via the feedback links at the bottom of the email.

(I rarely have time to reply to the feedback, btw. But I do read it all.)

Alright, let's get to some new ideas.

RANK AND RENT | SEO | NICHE WEBSITES

Directory of Best Accident Lawyers Near Me

💬 Ayush tweets, along with a screencast of some juicy keywords…

Is anyone building a directory of "best accident lawyers near me"

Seems there's lot of demand for niche use cases.

- Pedestrian accident attorney [Keyword Difficulty 1, Search Volume 250]
- Lyft accident attorney [KD 5, SV 1800]
- Truck accident lawyers [KD 1, SV 1600]

And with high CPCs too.

Lawyers would pay good money for these leads.

Starting off, you could try this for one city or area, spin up a quick site and see if you can rank on Google 📈

Any leads that come through, you could pass along to vetted local law firms.

Typical "rank and rent" SEO strategy, you'd get paid per lead 🤑

$1000 From One Deal on His Tiny YouTube Channel

Conor Martin posted to YouTube a few months back 👇

💌 He shared more details via email…

I did some outreach and did a deal with one company: $50 per video for 10 videos, plus affiliate commissions. I made $500 up front + another $500 in commissions.

I wanted to monetize this channel early on as I have put lots of effort into YouTube before and never made any money.

Turns out you can monetize a channel through affiliate marketing / sponsorships / digital products from Day 1.

Conor also notes in his video description…

Before I make a video, I think about a topic that I want to talk about. I then think about a product I can promote that could help the audience I am talking to.

He'll then sign up for that product's affiliate program and try to get a sponsorship deal with them as well 😎

Could you try this yourself?

PRODUCTIZED SERVICE

AI Chatbot Setup Service

📝 Someone posted on Reddit

We recently added an AI chatbot to our website and it's been incredible for engaging visitors and converting them into leads…

We took all our publicly available company info – white papers, webinar content, email marketing text, lead magnets, website copy, etc. – and fed it into the AI to create a custom chatbot…

Then we added a chat widget in the corner that says something like "Hey, there! I know everything about the company. Feel free to ask me anything!" …

The results have been amazing. We're getting way more leads through the chatbot than we ever did with static forms.

How about doing this for companies as a service? 🤔

Set up and prime the chatbot, install it on their website, monitor the results, deliver regular reports and insights.

Someone in the comments recommends Tawk.to for creating chatbots, looks like they have a free plan 👍

GIFT WRAPPING

$300K Per Year From Her Mobile Gift Wrapping Business

Check out this story…

🚀 Michelle Hensley launched that business in 2015 at the age of 51…

What began as a small gift basket business quickly evolved into a thriving mobile gift wrapping service… with high-profile clients like Warner Bros., Kim Kardashian, and Meta seeking out her expertise.

From the Mobile Gift Wrapping page on Michelle's website…

a premium, on-location wrapping service for your convenience… Each pop-up stand booking has a minimum requirement of 2 hours and includes ribbon and wrapping paper.

Pricing starts at $180/hour 🤑

Sounds like it's often just Michelle heading out in her van, stocked with supplies, to wrap a bunch of gifts.

Strikes me that this business could work in many places 🌎

If nothing else, it could be a great seasonal side hustle.

Could you try it in the lead-up to Christmas? 🎄

SAAS

$2 Million Per Year By Doing Less Than The Competition

👉 Carrd is a popular one-page website builder.

A recent interview with the co-founder, AJ…

AJ started out selling simple website templates.

He noticed that his one-page templates were "unusually popular," which gave him the idea for Carrd 💡

Also…

As a solo dev, I couldn't exactly build a Squarespace-tier site builder. So it made sense to set my sights a bit lower — hence the concept of a one-page site builder.

I like that approach: look at a big player in your space and build your entire product to compete with just one of their features.

Another example is Grammarly ($13B valuation), which essentially started off as a better version of Microsoft Word’s spell check.

What big enterprise software are you familiar with? 🧐

Does it have a key feature that could be a standalone product?

Update: Become an AI Actor

Quick update on a story we shared a few weeks back…

A subscriber named JK tried it and reported via email that she received a one-time payment of $150…

For one 2 minute video that I’m going to record today. And they cannot use my likeness in porn…

It’s not the smoothest process. I had to submit the video 4 times because they had trouble on their end.

But, it will pay for dinner!
