Hey, it's Niall 👋

I'm on the road today, heading back to Ireland for a week to visit family.

But I have a few fresh business ideas lined up for you nonetheless.

Let's get stuck in.

AGENCY | INFLUENCERS

2 Ideas For Making Money With This UGC System

📝 A recent post on Reddit…

That person figured out a system for hiring influencers to create content about his product (ie. UGC), with great results…

This method is working better than anything we've done in the past and we're getting quality content at a fraction of the cost of doing it with an agency

So it sounds like there are agencies already doing this, but they aren't cost effective 😕

Could you build a better agency in this space?

Or 👇

Step two of the process described in the Reddit post…

Hire someone on upwork to get spreadsheet of MICRO INFLUENCERS (1-5k followers) in your niche with email in their tiktok/insta bio

Might be an opportunity there to build out a directory or marketplace of micro influencers in various niches, charge brands for access 🤑

AUCTION RESULTS

$150K+ From A No-Code Project He Built For Himself

📝 Marc Montagne writes in a recent interview

In 2021 I decided to launch WatchAuctionHQ, a database of watch auctions results, simply because I needed it myself as a collector.

He built it with no-code tools…

I was able to have a running prototype in less than two months by working on it during nights and weekends.

After 3 years, Marc had grown it into "a five-figure ARR product" and sold for 6 figures 💰

So he likely earned $150K+ from the project overall.

Got me thinking: perhaps you could build an auction monitoring site for another niche.

Niches with thriving auction markets include 👇

  • Art

  • Antiques

  • Classic cars

  • Comic books

  • Sports memorabilia

  • Rare books and manuscripts

  • Coins

  • Stamps

  • Wines and spirits

That last one reminds me of another story we covered…

FREELANCE WEB DESIGN

Learned This Skill in 3 Weeks, Now Earns $5000/Month

YouTube interview with Hope Himel-Benson…

Hope builds Squarespace websites for clients 😎

But she started with zero experience…

I cannot sell what I don’t use, so I knew I had to build my own website. So I took 3 weeks, I built my website in Squarespace, I launched it in December

Then she landed her first client in January, offering "very special low pricing that would never ever be offered again."

Hope partnered with Squarespace premium template designers, and customizes those templates to build unique websites for clients.

Her pricing starts at $3200 for a 2-week project 🤑

Sounds like a lot of people could follow in her footsteps.

Do it with Squarespace or other site building software like Shopify, Webflow or Wix.

Take a few weeks, build a nice site for yourself, then offer the same service to others 👍

PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS

She Earns $1M/Year Selling Personalized Jewelry

Karen Frederick is the founder of Kole Jax Designs 💎

Launched in 2012, they make and sell personalized jewelry and accessories.

Apparently the business now earns $1+ million per year 💰

How Karen got started as a stay-at-home mom with 2 kids…

I ordered supplies and taught myself to cut glass and solder by watching YouTube videos.

I opened an Etsy shop and took custom orders. I published my business page on Facebook, posted every new design I created and offered giveaways.

Sounds like the personalization was key here 👀

Reminds me of another story we covered, selling personalized wallets and pens…

I asked ChatGPT to suggest other personalized items you could learn to make and sell without spending lots of time or money.

Got back these 17 suggestions 👈

If I was going to explore this further myself, I'd look deeper into personalized candles or coasters.

HACKING

Canadian Guy Has Earned $4 Million as an Ethical Hacker

Congratulations Eric Head for reaching $4 million in bounty payouts!

The post is by HackerOne, a website where companies like Facebook and PayPal can hire hackers to find security vulnerabilities 🧐

A hacker who identifies a vulnerability gets paid a bounty.

Eric's HackerOne profile shows he's been on the platform since 2015.

And that $4 million announcement came about a year ago, around the same time as this story…

Crunching the numbers, Eric has earned about $450,000 per year / $35,000 per month since joining HackerOne 🤑

I got into hacking when my my daughter was born

I assume he was coding long before that, though his LinkedIn suggests he's self-taught.

If you're into coding or eager to learn, keep ethical hacking in mind as a way to make money 👍
