eBiz Insider Business Ideas Newsletter
Hey, it's Niall 👋
I'm often asked to include more passive income business ideas in this newsletter.
And I'd love to, but it's rare that I come across a legit passive income business idea 🧐
Think of it this way: passive income is like passive health.
The people who manage to stay "effortlessly" healthy only do so after investing years of effort into building healthy habits 💪
Same with passive income: people usually only achieve that after spending years building up assets that can deliver consistent income with little ongoing effort.
Also, I've never seen an entrepreneur earn significant passive income without first earning significant active income.
Active income = plain old boring trading time for money 💰
Those business ideas aren't so sexy, but they're way more likely to earn you a living within a few months.
Alright, let’s dive in.

COMPARISON WEBSITE
His Keyboard Website is Already Earning $2000+ Per Month
Check out 👉 keeb-finder.com, a website that lets you compare and buy mechanical keyboards.
It's a solo project by Patrick Hallek, who posts on Reddit…
It all started with my frustration while searching for the perfect mechanical keyboard. There were just too many vendors and so many options that it felt impossible to find exactly what I wanted without spending countless hours on research.
So he built the website for himself, then…
I decided to share it here on Reddit, and it blew up.
Apparently the site now gets 300k monthly page views and Patrick says it has become "a legit side business" 💪
It's monetized with affiliate links to buy the keyboards.
Looks like the commission is in the 2-5% range, depending on the vendor, so for every ten $100 keyboards Patrick sells, he's earning $20-50.
I'd estimate he's selling ~1000 keyboards per month with that traffic = $2000+ monthly revenue 💰
We featured another comparison website recently that's earning $2500/month: GetDeploying.com.
Both sites launched within the last 2 years.
How about building a comparison website for another niche? 🤔

SELLING TEMPLATES
$2000 in a Month (From a Small Audience) By Saving People Time
💬 Robin Faraj tweets…
I made $2k revenue in a month…
I'm building the ultimate React Native & Expo boilerplate for web developers. Easy to use with video guides and a web-like developer experience.
See the product here 👈
Boilerplate = a ready-to-use, foundational code template or setup that developers can use as a starting point for their projects.
Someone asked Robin where his customers came from and he replied…
Most are from X, a couple from Reddit, and sole from Google :)
Amazingly, he has <1000 followers on X 🤯
Robin is clearly a great coder but the key here is that he created a product that saves his customer a ton of time.
Same deal with these non-coders…
What's a niche you're familiar with?
What are the most time consuming tasks in that niche? 🧐
Can you create a product or service to address one of those?
SAAS
The Easy Way To Start a SaaS Business
Tim Bennetto is the founder of Pallyy, a social media management tool that earns $74K per month 🤑
Tim recently tweeted…
the easy way to start a saas:
- join competitive niche
- do zero validation
- build tool in < 1 mo
- add live chat
- add canny board
- build whatever ppl say
- be affordable
- be honest about being small
Building the tool in <1 month… easier said than done, but way more doable nowadays with no-code tools like Bubble 😎
On joining a competitive niche, it may be best to find one with expensive competitors, so you can position your product as a budget (or better) alternative.
Software to run a house cleaning business. The Saas tools that exist are all not good enough.
That's from someone who runs 16 house cleaning businesses.

TIKTOK
Use This Free Tool To Make Money on TikTok
💬 Greg Isenberg tweets about the TikTok Creator Insights, which seems to be only accessible via the TikTok app…
it's a goldmine of consumer behavior data, hiding in plain sight. and it's free to use…
the "content gap" tab shows you problems people are actively trying to solve, but can't find good solutions for.
so that's cool for a couple reasons
1. help you create content that has low supply/high demand (better chances of going viral)
2. you can build startups to some of these trends
Example:
i searched "email management" and found:
• "how to clear 10k emails"
• "best way to organize work inbox"
• "email templates for busy people"
thousands searching.
hardly any solutions.
Use this to find "content gaps" in your niche, then create videos to fill those gaps 🎯
Monetize with your own products or affiliate offers.
COMMENT MARKETING
Charge $500+ Per Customer Per Month For This Service
💬 Luke Miler tweets…
Business idea I want someone to build 💡
Done-for-you, thoughtful, premium comment marketing.
Have customers sign up for your service by providing the product/service they want to market and their email.
Study their business and content in detail to understand their value proposition…
Use @sobedominik's Redreach, @PitchGhost, or similar tool to execute your service.
Send weekly and monthly email reports detailing your engagement activity.
Most companies are super dumb with this.
They mass-post spammy, mostly irrelevant replies, both harming the customer's brand and getting their posting accounts suspended.
Take a thoughtful, premium approach, and you can easily charge $500 - $1,000+ per month for a set number of comments.
One person full-time can easily handle multiple accounts.
I'll be your first customer.
Judging by the replies, there's a healthy amount of interest in this idea 🔥
