Hey, it's Niall 👋

I've got another batch of business ideas for you below.

But first, here's an excerpt from Alex Hormozi's book, $100M Offers

From this point forward, you must abandon any notion you have about “what's fair.”

Every enormous company in the world charges you money for things that cost them nothing.

It costs pennies for the phone company to add an additional user, except they don’t mind charging you hundreds per month for access.

It costs pennies to manufacture pharmaceutical drugs, but they don’t mind charging hundreds of dollars a month for it.

Media companies charge advertisers a king’s ransom for your eyeballs, and it costs them next to nothing to get you to like kitten photos on social media.

You need to have a big discrepancy between what something costs you and what you charge for it. It is the only way to be unreasonably successful.

Love that 😍

If you're like me, your default is to calculate how much time and effort it took you to create a product or deliver a service, then add a small markup.

But as Alex points out, that's not the way the pros do it 👀

Alright, let's get to the ideas.

AUTOMATIONS

He's Earning $100,000 Per Month Selling Automations

💬 Nic Conley tweets

Biz idea: find 5 Make/Zapier automations that are extremely useful to one type of business.

Scrape a list of 100 biz's in that niche.

Record a loom of the automation and how it would help their biz. Cold email each biz.

Charge a 1 time set-up fee or monthly recurring fee

Jack Roberts replied

Even better:

Record a however long (30-90 minutes) of actually setting it up.

“Here’s exactly step by step how to do it.

If you just want it done, it’s a 1x payment…”

You’d probably convert 30% to payment

Meanwhile, here's Nick Saraev on YouTube 👇

In the last 3 months I've made almost $300,000 with 94% profit margins using automation and Make.com…

I want to cover 5 extremely in-demand high-ROI automations that you can build and sell today for between $1500 and $10,000 a pop

FREELANCE DESIGN

She Went From $35 to $9000 Projects in 1 Year

UX designer and mom of two Li Zeng tweets

😲😲 I just broke into $30K MRR last month!!

Early this year, I started by selling $35 website design on X.

More background here

I made my first $35 on X after roasting landing page design for free for almost a month.

That’s not a 15min job, it’s probably 5-8 hours of hard work put in for that specific website.

And here she is more recently selling $8000 and $9157 design projects 💰

Seems one key is her target market: serial VC founders rather than indie founders.

Oh, and it's not like Li is huge on X, only ~8000 followers 👀

So she ground it out in the beginning, showcasing her expertise every day on X and taking whatever paid projects she could get.

And within a year she's earning $30,000 in a single month 😎

What if you showcase your expertise for 30 days straight on social?

NICHE PRODUCTIVITY APP

21-Year-Old Med Student's App = $27,000 Per Month

Check out memo.cards 👈

It's a flashcard app to help students study.

The founder is Jason Chan, self-described on his website

21y/o. Med student by day, building AI SaaS startups by night.

He also lists the revenue of memo.cards there as $27,000 per month 🤑

700k visits to the site last month (source) so that sounds about right.

Best I can tell, Jason initially built the app to help himself study for medical school.

There were a lot of flashcard apps out there already, but he focused on a target market he knew well and used AI to simplify the card creation process 🤖

Could you do something similar with other general-use productivity apps?

💡 Quick ideas to get your wheels turning…

  • A task manager for lawyers

  • A note-taking app for scientists

  • A habit tracker for artists

The latter wouldn't even need to be an app, could be a simple PDF template that you sell on Etsy (like Debbie).

Affiliate Marketer's Dream To Turn This Data Into a Blog

💬 Fed tweets

Discovered the Buy It For Life subreddits

Some seriously useful recommendations here!

Affiliate marketer's dream to turn this data into a blog

Here's the main one: r/BuyItForLife 👈

Someone replied to Fed with an example of such a blog / website: buymeonce.co.uk

That's been around since 2019 and gets about 50k monthly visits (source).

Methinks the smart SEO play here would be to have Reddit in your page titles 😎

I shared a screenshot on X of some low-difficulty keywords you could target.

Probably best to go niche to start 🎯

This AI Anime Tool: $12K Per Month in 1 Year

📝 YiMeta writes that AnimeGenius is generating $12,000 MRR after only 12 months…

AnimeGenius is an AI-powered anime generator that allows users to create stunning anime-style artwork in minutes.

Coming up with the idea…

I noticed that while there were AI art generators on the market, none focused specifically on anime. This was an opportunity to fill a niche that was being overlooked…

Key Takeaway: Find a specific gap in the market and focus on building something that satisfies that unmet need.

Perhaps this could also work for niches adjacent to anime.

Eg. comic book style or line drawing ✏️

Related: I've been playing around with PhotoAI recently ($100K MRR).

It can generate YouTube reaction face thumbnails but that's not its main focus and it doesn't do a great job 😕

I'd pay for an AI tool that produces really good YouTube thumbnails.
