eBiz Insider Business Ideas Newsletter
Hey, it's Niall 👋
Recently a subscriber asked me to review a course called PDF Empire Builder.
I went ahead and bought the training, spent several hours going through it, compiled 80+ pages of notes, then made this video…
I'm planning to make more review videos like that.
If there's a particular course / app / website you'd like me to look at, hit reply and let me know 👍
Now, let's get to a fresh batch of business ideas

MARKETPLACE APPS
The Webflow Marketplace = $100 Million Opportunity
💬 Matt Espinoza tweets…
There's a $100M opportunity for the person who builds the top apps on the Webflow marketplace.
- Still in beta
- 10M visits a month
- Less than 200 apps
Simply clone the top apps on Wordpress then put them on Webflow.
Webflow is a website builder, similar to WordPress.
Check out the Webflow apps marketplace here, and compare to the WordPress plugins directory for inspiration 💡
Someone replied to Matt on X…
There are so much opportunities like this: Salesforce Marketplace, Quickbooks/Xero Marketplace, Stripe too...
Building niche apps for small marketplaces is a HUGE deal

Earning $250/Day From Vietnam With Non-Viral Videos
🤖 Check out Feynman.ai…
An AI-powered platform to make reading, writing and understanding academic literature easier.
Founder Alex Nguyen lives in Vietnam and recently tweeted about his marketing strategy…
I went from earning $40/month to $600/day… and then maintaining $200-$300/day on average, all in one night, without spending anything on ads
He's doing it via short-form video 👉 examples on TikTok
Most of his videos get <1000 views…
I’ve never had a viral video, and my highest view count is only 18k.
He's making all the videos himself, mainly shooting footage of his laptop/screen, showing what it’s like to use the app 👀
Then filling in the rest of the videos with b-roll and random images of people studying. Overlaid with music.
So nothing fancy, not hard to replicate.
How about starting an agency and making these kinds of videos for clients? 🤔
Or find an app you like with a generous affiliate program and drive referrals using Alex's approach.
MEDIA AGENCY
$8600/Month By Focusing On His Own Demographic
Danny Miró-Chinea is the founder of Comprende, an $8.6K per month "media and consulting agency focused on the U.S. Latino demographic."
Danny noticed the trend to support Black-owned businesses, and decided to do something similar for Latinos 👍
He began with a newsletter on the topic about a year ago, then started making videos back in January.
A month later…
I made a video on the founder of a Latina-owned financial technology startup. She happened to see it, subscribed to Comprende’s newsletter, and then DM’d me on instagram the next day asking if A) I spoke Spanish and B) If I was open to paid collaborations.
He ended up selling her a monthly retainer to help with social media content and strategy.
So began Danny's agency 🚀
What demographic are you a part of?
How about setting up your own agency – social media or otherwise – and focusing 100% on that demographic?

CLOTHING CONSIGNMENT BUSINESS
She Earns $10,000 Per Event Selling Other People's Clothes
📝 An interview with Sarah McAffry of Statemint Consignment…
Sarah sells other people's unwanted clothing on their behalf and takes a percentage.
But she's selling at temporary in-person events (ie. consignments), not online…
Sarah believes the event model, with its built-in urgency and scarcity, is what makes it work. They’re only open 10 days a year (split between two events), which creates that “you snooze, you lose” mentality that drives sales.
Sarah's business has expanded to 23 locations across the USA and she now has a franchise program 🔥
You could try doing this yourself or team up with her…
The timing seems right. According to ThredUp’s latest report, the resale market is growing 15x faster than traditional retail.
You could also try this for items other than clothing.
Maybe help people clean out their garage or attic, then sell the stuff on their behalf, take a cut 😎
TEACHING ONLINE
Stay-At-Home Dad: $285K/Year Quietly Teaching What He Knows
Leo Trieu is the founder of Code4Startup…
a Saas Code School for Founders, Marketers, Freelancers & more
He teaches coding via video tutorials, gives a lot away for free and charges $39/month for extras 🤑
Leo writes that he's a stay-at-home dad of 2 kids, and…
Being a solo founder and a maker, I crossed $2M milestone over the course of 7 years by teaching thousands of people how to code and build meaningful stuff.
💬 He recently tweeted…
Just crossed $150K+ teaching AI - and it all started from the gold I found in this community on Twitter (X).
Presumably that's $150K in the last ~2 years.
He only has ~2200 followers on X, and no huge following elsewhere 🤯
Best I can tell, his main marketing channel is Udemy, where he has one free + one paid course with ~145,000 students combined.
Goes to show that you can chip away online teaching what you know and earn a great income, no massive social media presence required.
What could you teach? 🤔
