APP DEVELOPMENT
He Built a Micro App With AI and Sold it For $3000
💬 Jay tweets…
I just built as micro app using bolt.new and sold it for $3k.
Hottest opportunity right now is building micro apps that do one specific thing and selling them.
Bolt.new is an AI-powered app development platform 🤖
Jay elaborates that the project was more of a commission for a client…
Went to a mastermind in Oct - connected with the buyer
Showed the buyer a demo of something i built for myself early Nov,
Mid november i played around with bolt
Built project for him in bolt, showed demo
Requested 3k via invoice. Invoice paid.
So the play here would be 👇
Set yourself up as an app developer
Find clients who need apps to solve specific problems
Build solutions with bolt.new (or similar)
These guys have done something similar…

TUTORING
He Earns $1000 Per Hour Working From Home as a Tutor
📝 An article from CNBC Make It…
Steve Menking quit his job and started tutoring back in 2014…
Ten years later, that decision has paid off — in both career satisfaction and finances. In 2023, Menking earned more than $500,000 through private tutoring, a number he’s on track to match in 2024.
🚀 Steve started out tutoring on Wyzant…
He set his rate at just under $100 an hour and leveraged his Wall Street credentials to carve out a niche helping high school and college students in math, finance and accounting.
Later he switched to tutoring for Forum Education, upon which…
Menking’s earnings more than doubled, from $95,000 to $200,000 a year.
If you'd like to get into tutoring yourself, check some online tutors on Wyzant, see what they're teaching and how much they charge 👀
SEO | PRODUCTIZED SERVICE
This Service Helped 10x His Net Worth in 1 Year
💬 Todd Anderson tweets…
Today I'm 27
In the past year, I've:
- 10X'd my net worth, and more than doubled my personal income
- Scaled to multiple annual six figures with SEO in under six months
- Retired my wife from her day job
Looks like SEO is his main thing 📈
In another tweet he lays out exactly how he audits a new client's website.
Strikes me that anyone with some SEO skills could offer such audits as a productized service.
Todd has another tweet about finding clients 👇
DM with business owners and show examples of how I’d redesign their website and help with their SEO…
I did shift to focus more on SEO than web design once I realized that margins on SEO are WAY better
MEME BREAK
Making Money While You Sleep: Dream Vs Reality

I asked ChatGPT to come up with a meme related to "making money while you sleep" and this was one of the images I got back.
Not bad!
NICHE WEBSITE
Boring Formatting Site = $70,000 Per Year
From a report about JSONformatter.org…
"boring" online JSON formatter.
traffic via SEO.
generates 3.4 million visits a month…
estimated revenue $100,000 a year.
SimilarWeb estimates the traffic at 2.5 million / month for me, but that could still amount to $70K+ per year via Google display ads (source) 🤑
Reminds me of some other sites we've featured in the newsletter…
Lots of sites along these lines were started many years ago and have built up a solid SEO advantage 📈
But I expect most will eventually be replaced by AI equivalents.
Eg. AIJSONformatter dot org.
How about building simple AI equivalents to some of those popular niche reference sites? 🤔

PAID RESEARCH STUDIES
Well Over $10,000 From Paid Research Studies
Been a while since I checked in on Respondent.io (aff link), a site that pays you to participate in research studies 💰
Dozens of new studies you can apply for each week.
Some I just saw after logging in…
Looking to engage small and mid-sized business professionals – $100 / 60 min
Seeking your opinion on Food Products – $50 / 45 min
Paid Interview. Have savings? YOU qualify! – $75 / 60 min
Couldn't find any recent / believable earning reports on YouTube, but did find a few on Reddit, including one person who said a year ago…
I have made well over $10,000 with Respondent.Io
More recently, a couple of people in this thread reported earnings of $124 and $165 🤑
Unclear how many studies it took them to earn that much.
Also on Reddit: someone saying they're earning $1000/month from a few different sites 👍
Asked for their favorite, they responded…
I’d say respondent.io (took a long time to get my first interview, but once I did, it’s been great)
