Hey, it's Niall 👋

I'm all for learning new skills that you can leverage to make money online.

But what if you don't have the time (or desire) to learn new skills? 🤔

These words from the book Play Bigger might help…

We say that companies typically begin with either a market insight (they see a new problem to be solved) or a technology insight (they’ve invented something new and need to apply it to a problem).

Jeff Bezos has a different way of putting it at Amazon: identify a new need that your skills will let you solve, or identify a skill that you have and find a need.

Alright, let's dive into another batch of business ideas 💪

LEAD GENERATION

Unsexy Lead Gen Business Making $6500 Per Month

📝 Henry Gabby posts about his business on Hacker News…

Unsexy tech business making roughly $6-7k/mo.

I partnered with a local janitorial company that targets industrial clients with recurring nightly cleaning needs and I make roughly 7% of gross revenue as a recurring weekly payment as long as the client stays on w/o much work.

I help do some client support, SEO, and pay for things like Apollo.AI to reach out to customers but other than that it is pretty hands off…

it is a leads driven business. I have focused on improving SEO in three of their core markets. Any new customer that signs up as a result of my marketing efforts, as long as their base margin is met, I get paid for the lifetime of that account.

💬 Someone commented…

I love everything about what you're doing here. There's a lot of opportunity in a lot of different niches and it's all just being slept on.

Henry replied…

I do agree with you. Many other types of "sticky" and "unsexy" businesses out-there that are very easy to rank highly in SEO locally in dense urban environments.

How about doing the same thing in another area or for another type of company? 🤔

AI APPS

$12K Per Month From AI-Assisted Speech Writing Apps

Stefan Wirth tweets a screenshot of $97 received for "a fully custom eulogy" 🤑

That from his AI app: EulogyGenerator.com

Stefan is co-founder of an AI product studio called Niche Mates.

According to their homepage, Eulogy Generator earns $2000 per month.

They've also built a Maid of Honor Speech Generator that apparently earns $10,000 per month 💰

Looks like Stefan and his team also build apps for clients.

Pretty cool that they're earning $12K per month from basically the same product – AI-assisted speech writing – focused on two different niches 😎

What other niches could you build this for?

Or is there another AI app out there that you could build for a slightly different niche or use case? 🤔

TIKTOK DROPSHIPPING

$427 Revenue From His TikTok Business in 8 Hours

👀 A recent video from Vaughan Fawcett…

He was prompting these Mom and Dad guided journals via TikTok ads, taking advantage of the gift-buying rush for Christmas, using AI to write product descriptions and video scripts, and dropshipping the orders via AliExpress 🔥

Vaughan reports…

We got to about 20 orders, which came to about £350 in revenue. After product cost we were actually a few hundred pound in profit

£350 = $427 🤑

Unfortunately, Vaughan made some crucial mistakes with the supplier and shipping times, and eventually had to refund all the orders.

Despite that, he lays out a realistic blueprint for making money dropshipping products on TikTok 👍

Vaughan's conclusion…

I genuinely think this is one of the best ways to make money in 2024, going into 2025.

Quick and cheap to test this out, could be worth a try.

JOB BOARD

Earning $3900 Per Month From His Super-Niche Job Board

📝 BoringCashCow reports

Untalent is a job aggregator dedicated for finding job opportunities within the United Nations and other international organizations…

founded in 2020 by a developer named Nath, who saw the need for a more efficient UN job board after struggling to find one…

revenue model is based on ads and subscriptions. It charges $6.80 per month for a premium account with premium features.

Revenue is $3900 per month 💰

Love that: so many job boards out there and yet we still see niche examples like this breaking through.

PODCAST PR AGENCY

$130K in Year 1 From His Podcast PR Agency

💬 Pat Walls tweets about Jonathan Garces, who started Getonapod.com in Oct 2023.

Business description…

We’re a Podcast PR agency that helps individuals elevate their personal brand, create impactful content, and grow their network.

Jonathan writes…

One year later we've done roughly 130k [revenue]

Jonathan was interviewed on YouTube last February 👀

He already had 20 clients at that point, so he got off to a fast start, working with contractors in the Philippines to handle client outreach and lead gen.

🤖 Sounds like automation has been key, per this post on LinkedIn

The fact that I can use tools like Claude to develop small tools that make us 10,000 times more efficient without paying a developer or waiting weeks is incredible. Even if you know literally zero code, you can still build tools for your or your team.

How about starting your own podcast PR agency, perhaps focused on a particular niche?

Or could you do something like Jonathan but for YouTube or TikTok collaborations instead of podcasts? 🤔
