eBiz Insider Business Ideas Newsletter
Hey, it's Niall 👋
I just published this video on YouTube…
Mark Tilbury is a popular finance YouTuber. I tried out his "easiest way for beginners to make money online" and shared my results in that video.
Spoiler alert: it's not as easy as he makes it sound 😕
I'm thinking to make more videos like that where I test out different ways of earning money online, especially those touted by popular YouTubers.
What do you think? |
Alright, let's get stuck into some fresh business ideas.

Fake News Websites Earning $10,000's Per Month
👀 New video from Spencer Haws…
He actually shares 4 "fake news" or satire websites.
The first two are huge and hard to replicate 👇
Babylon Bee – 20M monthly visitors, $1M+ monthly revenue
The Onion – 10M monthly visitors, $400K+ monthly revenue
But Spencer also shares two smaller examples that could be run – or at least started – by one person.
The first 👉 Sad and Useless
Mainly curating funny links and memes, big Facebook following, earns an estimated $2100/month from display ads.
Second 👉 The Hard Times
Started as a punk rock satire site, later expanded to politics, video games, etc. 2M+ monthly visitors. Spencer estimates $40K+ per month from ads, sponsorships, merch 💰
I'm thinking there could be a profitable site like this for many a niche.
Maybe start with a Facebook page or Instagram account, share funny stories and memes, eventually drive traffic to a site on the same topic 💪

AFFILIATE MARKETING
$17,975 Last Month From Affiliate Marketing & Google Maps
Randomly found this recent YouTube video…
The guy shows how he earned $197K via the Fiverr affiliate program last year, including $18K last month 🤑
His process…
Sign up for the Fiverr affiliate program
Pick a well-reviewed Pro service to promote (eg. social media marketing)
Use Google Maps to find businesses who could use that service
DM those businesses (or call, if you prefer)
Pitch them the service you are promoting
Include affiliate link in your pitch
He uses ChatGPT to write the pitch, and you could probably automate a lot more of the prospect finding and outreach here as well 🤖
…
LAST MINUTE UPDATE 👇
Having browsed other videos on that channel, it looks like the guy is posting his Fiverr affiliate links all over the web (Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
He needed 7 million clicks to generate that $197K in commissions. So this is quite a spammy way to make money 😕
ONLINE TRAINING
$400K From His Online School Launched A Few Months Ago
📝 From an interview with Ben Issen…
Right after university, I started a personal incubator called Supercreative that built tools for freelance designers.
I designed, coded, and marketed over 18 tools, some with the help of developers with whom I split profits. After four years, I sold eight of these tools… and moved on to build a school for adults.
So, I’m now the co-founder of Side School, where we teach practical AI skills with challenge-based learning…
We launched a few months ago…
Our one-month bootcamps cost $1400 per person… We’re getting close to 350 students
That adds up to $490,000 💰
Here's the twist: they're focused entirely on the French-speaking market for now.
And French is only the 20th most widely-spoken language in the world 🇫🇷
Easy to imagine online AI schools like this doing well in other languages.
Could you build one yourself? 🤔
Or partner with an AI expert to build it?

Busy Mom Built This $375K Business in 15 Hours Per Week
👀 A recent interview with Corina Holden on YouTube…
Corina is described in the intro as…
A mom of five who runs an amazing business helping women take the guesswork out of getting dressed
Corina's site: Now That I Can Do 👈
Monetized in a few ways, including what-to-wear outfit calendars (example).
And apparently Corina is building a SaaS product with the aim of earning recurring revenue.
Anyway, I'm thinking other people could do something like this but for different niches.
For example 👇
Plus-size women
Older women
Business women
Men (could go even more niche here)
It wouldn't be an overnight success – Corina has been building her biz since 2016 – but clearly it's something there's a market for 📈
TRENDS
AI + Old Solution = 3 Big Bags Of Money
A tweet from Rachid, who runs Rising Trends…
AI + Old Solution = 💰💰💰
Our tool has spotted many trending keywords that highlight students shifting to AI solutions.
All you need to do is build an AI-version of the old solution.
A trend he highlights: AI Quiz Generator 📈
More and more people are searching for related keywords.
One key player in this space that is killing it is Revisely.com…
started only back in Aug 2023 (1.5 years ago) and are now getting an estimated traffic 1.3 million…
This shows you can build a real business in under 2 years in this space.
💬 Rachid's advice for taking advantage of this "massive opportunity"...
1/ Pick one of these keywords (for example, "ai flashcard generator")
2/ Choose one popular test or exam (ex: SAT) that people are in great need to use flashcards for.
3/ Build a mobile or web app
4/ Use paid ads or SEO to drive traffic
