NICHE NEWSLETTER

TikTok Account > Newsletter > $100K in 3 Months

The LA Raver is a newsletter covering the rave scene in Los Angeles 🕺

Danielle Tudahl launched it in 2023 off the back of a TikTok account she started in 2019.

💬 She shared in a recent interview

I had maybe 20,000 followers on TikTok. I was posting little videos, “Here’s what I’m gonna go this weekend,” or “Here are my recommendations for raves.”

Now, with 16,000 newsletter subscribers…

In the past three months, The LA Raver has generated nearly $100,000 in revenue. "Crazy money! I'm literally setting up getting an accountant,” chuckled Dani.

This income comes from various sources, including event ticket sales, affiliate codes, newsletter ads, and sponsored content that began trickling in as The LA Raver's influence grew.

Surely this could be done in other cities where there's a good rave scene 🔥

Or any kind of scene that people are interested in.

I'm reminded of this guy in Colorado Springs we featured recently 👇

BANK CHURNING

$17K Last Year From Easiest Side Hustle Nobody Talks About

👀 A recent Reddit thread…

u/Mattsfloored replied

Churning banks, made 17k last year, and 15k in 2023. Pretty easy side hustle, also legal.

More details here from the same person 💬

Bank churning is where you open new bank accounts continuously and take the rewards that those banks are offering for people that open new accounts.

This is completely legal, completely free, and can be done from the comfort of your own home.

There's usually a minimum amount you'll need to deposit to get the reward, can be anything from a few $100 to a few $1000 💰

And you have to be careful to keep track of everything and read the fine print.

Mainly doable in the USA 🇺🇸 but in theory you could do it anywhere banks offer sign-up bonuses.

PROVEN AD CURATION

This Proven Ad Format = $2300 in a Few Days

Marc Lou tweets a 19-second video ad for his online course 💬

He says the ad was…

inspired by an ad on French Instagram (proven format)

Nico Jeannen later shared that the ad "generated $2300 in just a few days"...

- $200 ad spend…
- Average ROI: x11.3 🤯…

It also costs 2x less than our "regular" ads

So they basically copied a proven ad format and got great results 😎

I'm thinking someone should be curating and sharing such ad formats.

Could be in a newsletter / community / Telegram group.

VENUE RENTAL

$3000/Month Passive Income From This Airbnb-Like Platform

📝 From a recent interview with Hansel Moore…

Hansel owns a studio in Dallas where he records and produces content for his YouTube channels 💪

When he's not using it himself, he rents out the studio for $90/hour on Peerspace, which is like Airbnb for venues.

He only opened the space last June, and…

In our first month, we brought in north of $3,500.

Hansel doesn't say how much his studio space cost to buy and build out.

But even if you can't afford to buy a property, you could 👇

  • Rent and sublet via Peerspace (they allow it)

  • Partner with property owners and setup/manage their Peerspace listing

Check what spaces are available near you on Peerspace, see if there are some gaps in the market 🧐

APPS

This Simple App Earned $2,300 in 1 Month via Instagram

Peazehub.com is a simple focus timer and productivity app

The founder shared on Reddit

A few months ago, my girlfriend… mentioned she had trouble tracking her work and study hours…

So I built her a simple, clean time tracker. No distractions - just stats and a timer to track work and study time.

He added a few more features after that, then…

After posting it on Instagram and adding a payment option, it unexpectedly took off…

It's been exactly one month (+1 day) since I integrated payments, and so far, I've made $2.3K.

Sounds like most of his customers are coming via Instagram, where he's posting simple memes and Reels 👀

How about turning that marketing approach into a service? 🤔

Find niche apps and offer to manage their Instagram account, share similar content to attract new users.
