Hey, it's Niall 👋

I just read something in the NY Times that blew my mind.

AI performance is doubling every 4 months 🤯

So when you use an AI like ChatGPT today, it's roughly 2x as good as it was back in June!

Incredible to think how good it will be in 5 years.

Also scary 😱

Because it can be hard to keep up with all the new developments and abilities of AI.

This week, I started playing around with an AI assistant in my browser, getting it to research data in different tabs and fill out a spreadsheet.

It’s really cool… like having a personal VA working in the background on my computer 😎

I first heard about that assistant several weeks ago via The Rundown AI, which is an excellent way to stay up-to-date with all this stuff.

CHATGPT APP STORE

One of the Bigger Wealth Creation Moments in AI

📣 ChatGPT recently announced

a new generation of apps you can chat with, right inside ChatGPT. Developers can start building them today with the new Apps SDK, available in preview.

Greg Isenberg in a recent video

it is possible that this becomes a big thing. And if it becomes a big thing… this is probably one of the bigger wealth creation moments in AI…

ChatGPT has 800 million weekly active users. So you can get in front of 800 million people every single week and sell them something… the discovery opportunity is huge

He goes on to share 5 apps you could build for this new app store 👇

1. AI Tax Guy / K-1 Agent → "File my quarterly taxes"
2. Healthcare Concierge → "Find the best dermatologist nearby that takes Blue Cross."
3. Credit Score Repair Copilot → "Improve my credit."
4. Make-A-Meme → "Make a meme about X."
5. AI Grandma (life advisor) → "I’m overwhelmed—what should I do?"

🛠️ Greg says he'd try building such apps in Claude Code or Cursor.

How long would that take? I would say realistically two to three weeks to get something that’s working really well… you’d have to make sure that you get approved by OpenAI… maybe four weeks, in total 30 days.

AGENCY

Quit His Customer Support Job and Now Earning $10K/Month

📝 Mr Wane writes

Spent 4 years as GHL (Corporate) CSM, started my own Agency and scaled to $10k MRR.

Judging from his other posts on Reddit, he's from Bangalore in India 🇮🇳

He was working in customer support for Go High Level (GHL), an all-in-one software that many successful businesses are built on.

Best case scenario, he would have been earning about $2500/mo with that job (probably much less) 😕

Presumably he kept seeing customers using GHL to earn far more.

Then one day asked himself: “Why not me?

So he quit his job and now earns $10,000/month with his own GHL-based business 🤑

Asked what are the best services to start selling with HighLevel, he replied…

I'd go with two,

1. Reputation management, seen many businesses with terrible reviews and then using GHL they were able to send more reviews requests, follow-up, some able were restrict bad reviews, respond to reviews using Reviews AI. Eventually improving their reputation.

2. Database reactivation using Automation, GHL automation is very powerful. Using it for DBR is a gold.

TOGETHER WITH HIGHLEVEL

Here’s how 👇

  • Package services like review automation, CRM setup, or SMS follow-ups

STOCK VIDEO

He's Earning $1500/Month Filming Everyday Things

💰 Adam shares how he's making money right now…

Creating stock media videos. I earn $1-2k / month in royalties. I typically just take my camera with me when I'm out of the house or doing everyday things (cooking, working, hobbies, etc.). There are endless number of subjects and niches that barely have any content or could use a fresh take.

Marketplaces he uses 👇

I'm on about a dozen different sites-- mostly non-exclusive, so I can have the same content earning everywhere… Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, and Pond5 are ones I'd recommend for new folks.

🤔 Do you need an expensive camera?

You can definitely start out with just your phone. It’s more about what you shoot than camera quality…

I used to do some pro video work years ago but it’s mostly just been a hobby.

What to shoot…

If you check out Adobe Stock, Shutterstock, etc. you can see what folks are buying. Do some test searches and note what is on page 1 of results.

I typically stay away from trending/news related stuff since it's not likely to continue having that much demand after a while. The exception being if I think I can get something up quicker than most folks.

Evergreen topics are a lot more consistent though.

YOUTUBE

She Earned $130,000+ From This One Video

Tutorial-style YouTube content that answers specific “how to” questions can generate income for years after you publish.

Whitney [Bonds] experienced this firsthand with her How to Set Up an LLC video. After seeing a competitor’s 2022 video get 700,000 views, she created an updated version for 2025.

Whitney actually published her video in April 2023, but has updated the title each year since 😎

Her video now has over 200,000 views and has generated more than $30,000 in ad revenue plus over $100,000 in affiliate commissions.

To get started, look for successful videos in your area of expertise that are 1-2 years old. Create updated versions with your own perspective and better information.

Whitney does have a well-established YouTube channel (193K subs) 📈

But this sounds like a reliable strategy for YouTube success for new and old channels alike.

Prep a Public Domain Launch for January 1, 2026

📝 From an article published Jan 2 this year…

New books, films and music enter the U.S. public domain at the beginning of each year. This year, works debuted in 1929 have joined previously added characters such as “Steamboat Willie” versions of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, which sparked a string of horror-tinged media projects last year, and Winnie-the-Pooh, who was transformed into a bloodthirsty killer in the 2023 slasher film “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey.”

In other words, there is money to be made from IP moving into the public domain 🤑

Notable works for 2026 include…

  • Nancy Drew #1

  • Disney’s Pluto & Clarabelle Cow

  • Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple

  • Works of Albert Einstein

  • How to Win Friends and Influence People

💡 Ideas for monetization…

  • For written works: an annotated Kindle/print edition (KDP)

  • AI-narrated audiobooks

  • Etsy/Shopify: vintage posters, coloring pages, etc.

Why it works: massive nostalgia, zero licensing fees, and first-mover advantage on search and marketplaces 👍

Just be careful where you sell, as copyright rules differ by country (eg. Tintin isn’t public domain in the EU yet).
