Business Ideas Newsletter
Hey, it's Niall š
I sometimes hear that the ideas in this newsletter are too techy ā too much AI.
I get it. I try to mix things up so thereās something for everyone.
But I also feel for those still resisting AIā¦
Like it or not, the AI wave is already crashing over us š¤
Only using ChatGPT to proofread or summarize? That barely scratches the surface.
As Pete Sena puts itā¦
If youāre merely learning to āuseā AI tools within your existing workflow, youāre preparing for a world that no longer exists. Itās like becoming the worldās best horse trainer the year after Ford released the Model T.
Resisting AI today is like resisting the internet in the early 2000s ā itās a shortcut to irrelevance.
Yes, it can feel overwhelming. But the more we resist it, the faster we fall behind.
Letās dive into todayās batch of business ideasā¦
Including 200+ business ideas ā all designed to help you ride the AI wave š

AI-POWERED SAAS
19-Year-Old Earning $232/Month Within Weeks Of Launching
From an interview with Sebastian Mattsson š
Sebastian is a 19-year-old founder from Swedenā¦
After years of digital marketing, design, and experimenting with online businesses, he stumbled into SaaS, and built Launchliā¦
Within 30 days of launching, he reached his first 100 users, completely organically.
A couple of weeks later, he's at $232 monthly recurring revenue from 8 paying users š¤
Not a ton of money, but also pretty impressive considering he built Launchli with an AI coding tool: Lovable (aff link).
Sebastian writesā¦
Lovable genuinely changed everything for me. It removed every technical barrier I had⦠[It] basically gave me the power to build real applications without being a coder.
š His advice for other foundersā¦
Donāt overfocus on features. Your product isnāt the problem. Your distribution is.
If you consistently show up where your users already hang out, give value, and talk to people, you will get users, even with no audience, no ads, and no budget.
If you have an idea for an app or software, spend a weekend building with a tool like Lovable and see how it goes š

Boring Biz Nets Him $16K/Month Working 5 Hours Per Week
š Mike writesā¦
I was a painter in the Chicago suburbs working for an a**hole. I made $25 an hourā¦
I did a fair amount of side work for extra money.
One weekend I did really well on a fairly big side job and made about $2500 over the weekend (this was basically a windfall). I posted before and after pictures in a local facebook group and the post went viral.
I ended up booking two weeks worth of work from that post (and more as time went on)...
I figured screw it⦠I spent $1200 on a POS van and quit my job⦠I was able to make around $100k in my first year as a solo operator.
Fast forward a few years and weāre doing $2m annually, Iāve got a 50/50 partner, the business is extremely well systemized and I work 0-5 hours per week on that business.
Iām not exactly killing it financially because we have a lot of overhead in order to keep out of the day to day, but Iām making $180-200k with complete flexibility.
Clearly he worked a lot more than 5 hours per week to build the business šŖ
But just goes to show how much money there is to be made in simple, blue collar service work.
And how hands-off such a business can become with the right systems in place š

This Taylor Swift Superfan Earns $50,000 Per Month
From Side Hustle Nationā¦
My favorite story there š
Zachary Hourihane quit his marketing job to be a full-time Taylor Swift content creator.
Today heās got 250,000+ followers across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, and was featured in HBOās documentary about the Swift-Scooter Braun controversy.
The crazy part is Zachary's Patreon, where he has 10.1K people paying $3-25 per month for exclusive content š¤Æ
That's a minimum of $30,300 per month, but probably more like $40K/mo.
Factor in other revenue streams (YouTube ad revenue, podcast sponsorships, etc.) and I suspect Zachary is pulling in around $50K each month š°
SHN wondersā¦
Could you do this in your niche? Gaming, sports, TV shows, whatever youāre obsessed with? The playbook is there: bring real expertise, be consistent, build community, monetize through subscriptions.
Another angle is to become a superfan of popular software and teach others how to use it š

3 Tricks Billionaires Use to Help Protect Wealth Through Shaky Markets
āIf I hear bad news about the stock market one more time, Iām gonna be sick.ā
We get it. Investors are rattled, costs keep rising, and the world keeps getting weirder.
So, whoās better at handling their money than the uber-rich?
Have 3 long-term investing tips UBS (Swiss bank) shared for shaky times:
Hold extra cash for expenses and buying cheap if markets fall.
Diversify outside stocks (Gold, real estate, etc.).
Hold a slice of wealth in alternatives that tend not to move with equities.
The catch? Most alternatives arenāt open to everyday investors
Thatās why Masterworks exists: 70,000+ members invest in shares of something thatās appreciated more overall than the S&P 500 over 30 years without moving in lockstep with it.*
Contemporary and post war art by legends like Banksy, Basquiat, and more.
Sounds crazy, but itās real. One way to help reclaim control this week:
