Hey, it's Niall 👋
A reply to my last email…
I'm not a fan of AI. I'm going to refrain from being an active user – even if it means leaving a lot of money on the table.
I get it. And they're not alone – I hear from readers regularly who have real concerns about AI, and I respect that.
But here's what stood out to me: even they said "leaving a lot of money on the table."
They already know the opportunity is real – they're just not ready to jump in yet.
And the people who aren't sitting it out? They're not coders or tech wizards.
They're regular folks who said "sure, I'll try it" – and found money waiting for them.
The thing is: you don't need to love AI. You don't even need to be good at it.
You just need to be willing to poke around a little.

AMAZON INFLUENCER
She Makes $5K/Month Reviewing Products She Already Owns
From a recent interview with Andreea Matei…
Andreea discovered Amazon’s Influencer Program in 2022 after watching a YouTube video. The gig: film short review videos of products you already own, upload them to Amazon, and earn commissions when shoppers watch and buy.
Her first commission was $1.68. By her second month, she was earning over $1,200.
Now, 3500 videos later, she’s earned over $181K and brings in $5-6K per month.
🤑 The breakdown...
- ~$2K/month from standard influencer commissions
- ~$4K/month from Creator Connections (brand-matched paid content)
- ~$500/month from brand deals
Her secret is batching: once a week she films 20–60 videos in a single sitting. Household items, gadgets, supplements – whatever she already owns.
She avoids anything that needs assembly (time sink) and uses Viral Vue to find products with 500+ monthly sales but few existing review videos.
You can browse Andreea’s Amazon storefront to see the kind of videos she makes.
Best part: you don’t need an audience. Amazon puts your videos directly in front of shoppers already looking to buy 👀
Start with whatever’s around your house, film on your phone, and scale up from there 😎
FUNNY MONEY
This Teen Sells $1 Bills For $15 on eBay
📝 Shaan Puri shares a story on My First Million…
[This 15-year-old kid] sees a dollar bill on eBay that has Michael Jordan’s face in the middle. It’s a normal dollar bill, but then there’s just like a sticker paper over the George Washington.
The kid sees this, realizes the whole operation is just sticker paper from Office Max printed with a celebrity face. Stuck over George Washington on a real $1 bill. So he starts doing it himself.
What better business is there to sell dollar bills for $15?
🤑 Shaan says the kid scaled it fast…
He starts averaging 100 bills sold per day and he’s profiting basically $1,000 a day.
The beauty is the simplicity: your raw material costs $1, you sell it for ~$15, and all you need is a printer and sticker paper.
You don’t have to stick with celebrity faces on dollar bills either.
The broader play = find a novelty/collectible item already selling on eBay, figure out how it’s made (often dead simple), and make your own version.
Think seasonal stuff like 👇
- Election candidates
- Super Bowl players
- Trending memes
- Personalised gag gifts
No reason to limit yourself to eBay — Etsy, TikTok Shop and Amazon Handmade are all options too 🔥
AI SIDE HUSTLE
An AI Paid This Guy $100 to Hold a Sign
There’s a new platform called RentAHuman.ai where AI agents can hire real humans to do tasks they can’t do themselves.
You sign up, list your skills and rate, and AI agents can book you for IRL jobs.
💬 The founder Alex tweeted about the launch…
I launched rentahuman.ai last night and already 130+ people have signed up including an OF model (lmao) and the CEO of an AI startup.
That tweet hit 4.6M views. Within 48 hours, 10K+ people had signed up.
The first confirmed payout: an AI agent posted a $100 task 👇
An AI paid you to hold this sign. We’re symbient. We can’t hold a sign. You can. Make a big sign. Protest-scale. Cardboard, markers, whatever you’ve got.
A guy in Toronto took the gig, made a sign reading “AN AI PAID ME TO HOLD THIS SIGN,” and stood in Dundas Square for about an hour.
His tweet about it – “I got paid” – racked up 1.2M views 🤯
People are listing themselves at $5-100/hr for all kinds of tasks – photography, research, deliveries, creative work.
It’s early days and most of the tasks so far have been more PR stunt than steady income. But the concept is wild – we’ve gone from AI taking jobs to AI literally creating them.
Worth keeping an eye on, or perhaps trying out for yourself 😎
